There is currently a rubbertire closing the northbound cyclist path (i.e. former eastside sidewalk). The cyclist path hasn’t been opened as of yet, as the Contractor would like to ensure that everything is cleaned and that there are no safety issues. The cyclist path will be opened as soon the Contractor completes his cleaning operations.

The pedestrian sidewalk on the west side is currently open and accessible to pedestrians.

On another note, I would like to advise that major construction operations are now complete (Overhead signs, median curb and gutter, parapet railing). The contractor is expected to be out of the area for winter shut down and will return in spring to complete the remaining minor operations:

-          Reinstatement of Durable lines as per the contract

-          Minor paving

-          Landscaping -  Planting of median trees, grasses and perennials
