This year's Annual Valleywood Garage Sale is on June 4th, 2023!

Come out and sell your used goods on your driveway to turn your items into cash! Find those hidden gems and be on the hunt for a bargain! The event happens rain or shine, so be prepared whatever the weather.

The Annual Valleywood Garage sale is an event hosted by the Valleywood Resident Association. The event has happened on the first Sunday in June for 20+ years. For nearly 2 decades, community members have been setting up stands and selling items on their driveways to help with spring cleaning and adding a little extra cash to their wallets. Some with entrepreneurial spirits have even set up lemonade, ice cream and even hot dog stands! The event is attended by hundreds of people from Valleywood, Brampton and Caledon.

Valleywood Residents Association

Valleywood Residents Association (VRA) in Caledon was founded in 1998 by a group of individuals who were new to the neighbourhood and wanted to form a medium for exchanging views with respect to the ever growing community.

This suggestion spurred the first VRA meeting, held on Valecrest Court. After several months the founding group elected a president and thus was born the VRA, a Registered Non Profit Organization serving the community of Valleywood. Those founding ten members could not have foreseen the strength and longevity of the VRA.

The purpose of the VRA has remained unchanged from its very beginning; striving to promote unity, acceptance and safety within our community, enhancing and improving existing facilities, and becoming a vibrant voice in order to enhance the overall living environment.

Today, the VRA has a captivated audience in excess of 2500 residents. In addition to our annual events such as the Corn Fest, Wagon Rides and Garage Sales, the VRA is keeping pace with our community evolution by launching regular updates on our web site. As in the the past, we welcome everyone's feedback and encourage all residents to attend the regular meetings where they can voice their concerns.

Together, we can make a difference.
