Thank you Valleywood and area for voting! Although Ward 2 overall returned Marolyn Morrison and Allan Thompson to Town Council with Gord McClure, we were able to send a strong message of what we expect from our elected officials.
The following results were generated with A VOTER TURN-OUT THREE TIMES LARGER THAN THE LAST ELECTION AT OUR POLLING STATION!!!
For Mayor:
Marolyn Morrison 368 votes 36% incumbent
Annette Groves 661 votes 64%
For Regional Councillor:
Valerie Arnold-Judge 113 votes 11%
Allan Thompson 386 votes 38% incumbent
Tom Dolson 514 votes 50%
For Area Councillor:
Jim Cassel 323 votes 32%
Gord McClure 671 votes 67% incumbent
Once again, thanks for voting! Your participation reaffirms the direction of the VRA so we can accurately represent the community on matters both inside and outside of the Valleywood/Valleyview area.
